I'm no different, really.To make a rather long, and most definitely pointless, story short...my name is Rajarshi (raj +orshi) meaning the king who lives like a saint ,incorrect pronounciations by my professors and friends include rajarishi,rajash,rajshi and hell lot more.
Sometimes they say what kind of name is that?Who gave u that name? I really get exasperated and retort like Augustya of English August, its sanskrit for one who turns the flush just before he starts pissing and then tries to finish before the water disappears.
Well what else i can say?

Well, the problem is the same everywhere with all rajarshi s everywhere..u see ppl had known me as Rajesh and rajshri for my entire school life in nagaland cos ppl simply couldnt pronounce my name ..one of the worse things that happen is wen u go to some place wer u the ppl know ur name but havent seen u before and finally wen u turn up ..they are suprised finding a guy in place of the girl they were expecting ha ha ( many ppl think that rajarshi is also a girl's name in the same lines as Rajashree...)....but inspite of all this all we can do is create some awareness about our precious name...one of our namesakes has to get really famous ..man! then i think that ppl will stop confusing this name rajarshi...
